Vera Kapetanovic left this world while in a peaceful slumber January 24th 2012, to accompany her husband of 63 years. Vera was born in Travnik, Bosnia and Herzegovina on January 5th, 1926. At the age of 22 she met her soul mate and the father of her two daughters Dragana and Snjezana. As well as being a mother to her two daughters she was also a Chef and waitress at a Local restaurant, in the city where she was born. Vera along with her husband made the move to Richland, WA in 1997 and resided here for the past 14 years and been a US citizen for the past 10 years. Vera was a regular attendee of Christ the King Church and love to socialize with neighbors and friends from Church. Vera was survived by her daughters Dragana Petrovic and Snjezana Lukic, son-in-laws Vladimir Petrovic and Simo Lukic, his grandchildren Ivica & Marijana Lukic, Vesna Petrovic-Simic, Sanja Petrovic, granddaughter- in- law Alicia Lukic, great-grandchildren Adrian and Emma Lukic, and nieces Biljana Baric and her husband Franjo, Mirjana Imamovic and her husband Enver. A graveside service will be held Friday, January 27th at 1p.m. at Sunset Memorial Gardens in Richland. Following the service there will be a small reception at 615 Smith Ave, Richland WA.
