Valerie Val Renae Cartillar

Our beautiful and beloved Valerie Val Renae Cartillar, 33, Seattle, left this earth Wednesday, March 21, 2012, due to injuries sustained in an automobile accident.

We cannot always explain why God calls some of his most beautiful angels home…but it must have been for a pretty important reason to call someone this special home so soon. Death leaves a heartache no one can heal, love leaves a memory no one can steal. As we all comprehend this profound loss, let ourselves cry knowing each tear is a note of love rising to the heavens.

Val was born May 3, 1978, in Sacramento, California to Mother, Deborah Severin.

Val attended Hanford High School and graduated in Snohomish. She was attending the University of Washington and would have received her Bachelor's Degree in June 2012. She was also a graduate of the Gene Juarez Beauty School and worked for a time as a stylist. She was currently working as a waitress at Cuoco's in Seattle.

Val was truly a blessing and a free spirit. She loved adventure and travels, recently experiencing the trip of her lifetime to Greece where she met the love of her life, Gjovani, and got married in a private intimate setting.

She is survived by her husband, Gjovani Ndoi from Albania, her Mother, Deborah Severin of Pasco, WA and Step-Father, Steve Severin of Fresno, California. She is also survived by Sister, Nicole Leidel and Brother-in-Law, Gunnar Leidel and nephews Connor Perryman, Riley Leidel, Parker Leidel and Mason Leidel all of Pasco, WA, Brother, Steven Severin Pasco, Grandparents Don and Chris Bailey Richland and Grandmother Maureen Wright Sacramento, Uncle Jimmy Wright Pasadena CA, Aunt Diane Bailey Florida, cousins Ciara Orrell Virginia and Sophia Wright Pasadena CA. She was predeceased in death by Grandparents Donald and Mildred Bailey.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at Einans Funeral Home, 915 By Pass Highway, Richland, WA, Friday, March 30 at 2:00 p.m. Val had a passion for helping children and in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Make A Wish Foundation, in Memory of Valerie Cartillar, PO Box 6062, Albert Lee, MN 56007.
