Susan Lee Praino
Susan Lee Praino , age 39, died on June 22, 2012 at her home in Kennewick.
Born in Fort Huachuca, Arizona on July 17, 1972 to Carlton David Lee and Judith Ann Materna Susan was the youngest member of a military family and constantly on the move as a child. She thrived on the many moves; always thinking the next place would be better than the last. After she was born the family moved to North Carolina, Hawaii, Washington, DC, Olympia, WA and finally arrived in the Tri-Cities in 1989.
She graduated from Richland High School in 1990. In 1995 she graduated from Eastern Washington University with a BA in Business Administration.
After graduation, she began her career as the Director of Sales at the Red Lion Hotel in Kennewick where she was responsible for the sales department, reservations and the front desk.
In 1998 she joined Columbia Industries in Richland as an employment specialist.
She was the Convention Director for the Tri-Cities Visitor and Convention Bureau from 1998 to 1999 where she was responsible for the research, solicitation and attraction of organizations to the Tri-Cities.
In 1999 she joined the Pacific NW National Laboratory as a public relations specialist. By 2002 she had become a communications specialist and ultimately became Co-Editor of Battelle World, the organization's largest internal communications tool distributed to more than 10, 000 employees.
She left the work force in 2006 to become a stay at home mother to her three children, the center of her life.
She was an avid reader and her Kindle was always close at hand.
Holidays were always very special events to Susan; she loved shopping for gifts, wrapping presents with her mother and the reaction from the children when the gifts were opened.
She will be missed by all who love her.
She is survived by her three children Madison, Morgan and Easton; her parents; brothers Steven and Alan; her grandmother Alma Tallenger; and numerous loving aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
Preceding her in death was one brother, Robert.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Friday, June 29, 2012 at Einan's Funeral Home, Richland, followed by a graveside placement in Sunset Memorial Gardens, and concluding with a reception at Memories at Sunset Event Center.
I am so sorry to hear of your family’s loss. May you find comfort from the scriptures such as Isaiah 25:8
Sincerely, Julie
May God comfort you in your time of mourning. Love from all to all.
Death leaves a heartache no one can heal,
Love leaves a memory no one can steal.

Thank you Sue for the friendship… 22 years of memories that added endlessly to the joy of my life… Thank you for teaching me so much about life, being a good honest person, and loyalty.
