After his naval service, he worked in numerous capacities for Eastman Kodak, making homes in Spokane, Washington and Texas before settling in West Richland for retirement, to enjoy his beloved Corvettes and the great outdoors. He is survived by his sister Judy Eldon Cannon of Woodburn, Oregon, his nephew Michael Gail of Las Vegas, Nevada, niece, Tamie of Woodburn, and nephews John Tammera Jean of North Plains, Oregon and David Shonda of Phoenix, Oregon. He was preceded in death by both of his parents. A brief graveside service will be held at Willamette National Cemetary in Portland, Oregon on Tuesday, July 24, 2012 at 1:00 p.m.
Dave’s knowledge of Corvettes was great, but it was exceeded by his willingness to share that knowledge with his friends. We are very proud to have been called friends by Dave. RIP buddy.
