Wanda Mae Lindsey Winchel 88 Mom, Grandma, Nana began her new life in the spirit on July 3. Wanda was born in Sydney, MT on November 27, 1923. She passed away on July 3, 2012.
Wanda lived in the Richland area since 1962. Throughout her life she held many jobs. In the Tri-City area Wanda worked at Robinsons Clothing, Verns Shoe Store and McVickers Jewelry. She was co-owner with her late husband, George, of George's Ranch House in Pasco. In retirement, Wanda took delight in her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She enjoyed playing cards, watching the Seahawks and tending her roses and tomatoes.
She is survived by two daughters, Robyn Conway Richard of Concord, CA and Judy Sweeney Dennis of Richland. She is also survived by a brother, sister, 3 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Wanda was a member of Christ the King Catholic Church and her life will be celebrated at Mass on Friday, July 13 at 11:00 AM. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Hospice at the Tri-Cities Chaplaincy.
