Betty June Dietz
Betty June Dietz of Richland passed away September 26, 2012. She was born on June 5, 1923 in Lincoln Nebraska. Her family moved to the Tri-Cities in 1944, where she met the love of her life Don Dietz.
She was a full time homemaker, who was known for her baking and crafts. Her many hobbies included sewing, cooking, gardening, and volunteering. She lovedplaying games and spending time with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.Sweet was the word most often used to describe her.
She is survived by her sons, John Linda Dietz and Mark Sherry Dietz; her daughter Mary Larry Pitman; six grandchildren, Jacob Emily Dietz, Stacy Brian Taylor, Crystal Keith Ostler, Melissa Charlie Sampair, Jennifer Jeff Campbell, and Jason Dietz; eleven great-grandchildren, sister, Phoebe Bill Smith; brother, Charles Pringle.
She was preceded in death by her husband Don, son Jerry, daughter Patricia, two sisters, and her parents.
We would like to thank Richland Rehab and Eagle Assisted Living for taking great care of her.
A memorial service will be held Monday, October 1st at 10:00 am at Einan's Funeral Home in Richland.A reception will follow. Please dress casually and help us celebrate her life.

Betty was a very positive person and a joy to visit with. “Sweet” is a good discription for Betty. She will be missed by many and pray the family and friends will have peace in knowing that she is with her Lord and Savior. God’s Blessings!
I remember Betty so many years ago as I started my long road in Scouting. She was my first Den Mother, John and Jerry, Allen Dehart, my self were all part of the Den. My Mom was there also. Next week it will be 56 years ago, I am still active in the Boy Scouts. Thank you Betty and Don for the wonderful times and memories. God Bless, say hello to my Mom and Dad and Son
