Tammy W. Waterman

Tammy W. Waterman passed away peacefully in the arms of her spouse on September 19, 2012. Tammy was born in Covina, California in October 23, 1960 to Robert R. Waterman and Wanda R. Waterman. Tammy is now with her mother who she was very close to who preceded her in death.

Tammy and her husband Robert loved visiting the Pacific Northwest. They moved to the Tri-Cities 10 years ago from California. Tammy missed dearly all of the close friends she had to leave behind. Some of her passions in life were her craft projects, cross stitching, and holiday gifts. Tammy was known as the Bag Lady; she designed and sold hand crafted gift bags and it was a big part of her life.

She is survived by her husband Robert Sparks; step-daughter, Victoria; father Robert R. Waterman, step-mother Barbara Waterman, step-sister Sherri, step-brother Doug, and she would tell you her children; her kitties Monkey, Tinkey, and Zoey.

  • I am so saddened by the loss of a wonderful soul with a heart of gold. May you rest in peace Tammy. She was always positive, upbeat and had a smile on her face.We had lost touch for a while, but had some great conversations the past few years and it was great to reconnect.

  • To my beautiful, much younger sister…: I have known you just about all of my life. Making memories with you has been one of the best parts of my life and I will miss you each and everyday that goes by. I’ve already caught myself talking out loud to you. I could not of asked for a better best friend. You were always there for me, no matter what. Unconditional love: that’s how I love you and I know that’s how you loved me. Rest in peace my best friend…no more suffering in your sick, weak body. I already know you’re little light is smiling and free in Heaven! I will see you again one day and we will be able to sit on the porch and rock in our rocking chairs, just like we planned when we got old. I love you “Ma”…and I feel so lucky to have had the chance to have you in my life…..Love your much, older sister :

  • I met Tammy when I bought some Princess House online from her many years ago. We started writing online and we even got to meet a few years back when she came to this side of the mountains for a craft show. She was so darn nice! The world is a sadder place. Bob, she loved you so, and the kitties too. During our last WWF games, she was telling me about the Alaska cruise and how excited she was. The world lost a good person.

  • Dear Tammy,

Over the years you became a second daughter to me. Always caring and loving and always the laughter. As I walk through my house there are so many things you made for me and gifts you gave me and they make me smile. God made you special Tammy and I will always cherish the many happy memories I have of you and Darla and the fun times we had. You will live in my heart forever. I love you, Darlene Mom #2

  • My heart aches to hear this news. Tammy and I met on FarmVille over 5 years ago and have stayed in touch through Facebook and phone calls. we never met in person, but I always looked forward to our chats. She was funny and kind-hearted and could always make me laugh. Tammy was a blessing to me through many life events. Blessings to you, Bob, she loved you so very much. Prayers for you, your family and kitties.

  • I met Tammy on the first day of school, in our sewing class. I knew no one as I had moved over the summer to Corona del Mar from Riverside. Tammy welcomed me that day with open arms and an open heart. She was not like the rest of the girls. She was unassuming, kind, and had a laugh that would light up the room.

Over the years, she always tried to keep in touch, no matter where our travels took us in life. She never gave up on our friendship or on me.

Tammy, my heart is very sad and a piece of me feels like it is gone, but I am so blessed and happy with the fact that I knew you. You are in a pain-free better place now and I’m sure you have everyone in heaven smiling. You probably have already had your first crafts class…LOL.

You will be missed my friend…rest in peace…
