Mrs. Manuel brought so much joy into my life, my fathers life and my brothers life. My father Pat grew up down the street from the Manuel’s his whole life and we were fortunate to also spend some time growing up on Douglass street frequently visiting Mrs. Manuel and all of her critters. She would loan us board games and just spent so much time with us. My brother Tyler spent hours with her and those memories he will forever treasure. She was such an amazing and caring woman and we loved her so much. She will be greatly missed. Though we hadn’t seen her in a few years she was thought about often. Art, Chris and the rest of the Manuel family please know we are thinking of you.
Love, Pat, Kay, Amber and Tyler Lawson

So sorry to hear of Claudine’s passing. She was a very special person and will be missed by all.
Art & Family, God brings us the ones we love for many reasons, not the least is teaching us to be humble when they pass from our lives. Leaving warm recollections and loving thoughts. Art, when we worked at RPD in the 70’s, you had loaned me your Valient and trailer to move something or other. Afterwards, while filling your car with gas, Edra, not then known to me confronted me, demanding to know why I had her husband’s car, who I was, and where you were. I did my best to explain and quickly made it back to the station to tell you. My memory of that meeting still remains, she was looking out for you, and was at least as tough as you are. My warmest wishes to you and yours. I remain one of your many brothers in blue.
