Lisa Roberts
Lisa L. Roberts aka Lilly passed away on November 17th, 2012 at her home in Richland, WA, at the age of 53. Lisa was born to Harry and Rose Kary on February 25th, 1959 in Yakima, WA. Lisa later met her loving husband Bill D. Roberts, where they married on December 6th, 1980. Never leaving each others' side, they defined what it meant to love each other and be best friends.
Always up for a competition, Lisa enjoyed and loved Texas Hold'em. Following in her father's footsteps, she won several Poker Tournaments and knew how to play with the best of them. She more recently fell in love with another sport, which is competitive Trapshooting. Lisa could swing a 12 gauge with the best of them. You could hear the excitement and determination to win in her voice, every time she yelled "Pull!" Though the shooting brought her to the club; the friendly banter, camaraderie and joy of the wonderful friends she made at the range, kept her coming back.
Most of all, Lisa was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother who, more than anything, loved spending time with her family. Always caring and wanting to please, she always put others' needs before her own. Lisa spent the last 31 years of life and marriage turning their house into a home. Painting, decorating and sharing humor were some of her specialties. Her door was always open and she loved to watch the smiles on her friends and families' faces, as people ate and enjoyed her food.
Lisa leaves behind her loving husband Bill, her son Billy and his wife Jo of Ephrata, her daughter Tabby and grandson Bailey 20 of Puyallup, her daughter Amber and grandson Zakk 5 of Port Orchard, her sisters Patty Kutch, Marlys Wright and Debbie Carter and her many nieces and nephews. Lisa was preceded in death by her parents and her only brother, Del Kary.
Lisa was a beautiful, loving person whose laugh, smile and heart will be missed by all who knew and loved her, but yet never forgotten.
A memorial gathering will be held at Einan's Funeral Home, 915 Bypass Highway, Richland, WA on Saturday November 24th at 2:00 PM followed by a reception at the Rattlesnake Mountain Shooting Facility Shotgun Range 98204 N. SR 225 Benton City, WA 99320.
Our memories together will always be with me.. I love you, forever and a day!!!
I was shocked and saddened to hear of Lisa’s passing. My prayers go out to her family. Her memory will live on in the many she loved.
I was so sad to hear the news of Aunt Lisa’s passing. I have many fond memories of her from my childhood and always remember her as so glamorous and beautiful, always laughing. My thoughts and deepest sympathies are with her family right now.
We both are very sorry for you and your family’s loss. May time heel your pain and allow your memories of Lisa to be never forgotten.
Bill,
I am so sorry to hear of the passing of your precious wife and companion, Lisa. Lisa will be truly missed by all who knew her and enjoyed her humor, competitive spirit, and fun-loving personality. I am thankful that I had the pleasure to know and shoot with Lisa the past couple of years. Lisa had a great many friends and her memory will live forever through all those that she touched.
I’m so sorry for this sad loss. Lisa and the rest of the Kary family were always so welcoming to me and treated me like family. I remember as a teenager wanting to be like Lisa when I grew up. She was so naturally beautiful and elegant. She always had a warm smile and a great sense of humor. She was a joy to be around and I have very fond memories of her. Your family is in my thoughts.
I first remember meeting Aunt Lisa when Amanda and I were dating some 20 years ago now. She was always so friendly. Over time she became one of my favorite “in-laws”, it was always good to see her. She will be greatly missed.
Specifically to Billy- your Mother loved you dearly, every time we would “catch up” she would speak your name and beam with a mother’s pride that lit up the entire room.
Best wishes to the family in this difficult time.
Prayers to entire family and friends at such sad news.

We are so deeply saddened by this unexpected and sad news. Lisa was the best hostess in the world, and always welcomed the Crystal Linen/Overall/Aramark people into her home with such grace and hospitality! What wonderful times we shared there. She was one of the most capable women we have ever known: she could remodel the house, paint it, decorate it, cook a great meal, then set down and have a glass of wine and make you so happy you were there. We will miss her! What a great loss, but her family and friends have such great memories of a very special lady!
R.I.P. Aunt Lisa! I hope to get to know you more when I make it to heaven! Spread your wings and Fly! Love you!
Our heart and prayers are out to the family. God Bless
I was saddened to hear of Aunt Lisa’s passing. In my mind’s eye she is shining her beautiful smile out into the world. My heart goes out to you all as you learn to make your way.
My love my life, I wish I was with you now!
Bill
I was saddened to learn about Lisa’s passing. She was always kind and gracious and will be missed.
Our thoughts and prayers are with Bill, Tabitha, Amber and Billy.
Respectfully, Salisa Roberts
The first time I met Lisa was at the Roberts’ home in West Richland. I was immediately struck by her natural beauty, not marred by cosmetics which would only have detracted from that beauty. She was a gracious hostess, greeting me like an old friend. I also admired Lisa for her artistic talent in interior decorating, particularly when she and Bill moved into their Richland home. Lisa was passionate about her family, her chosen pastimes, physical fitness and politics. Our hearts go out to Bill, her children, grandchildren and siblings. The hole she leaves behind can never be filled, but it can be decorated with the many rich memories that will sustain and eventually give you warmth. Honor her memory by always giving your best in whatever you do, as Lisa always did. Please do not hesitate to ask anything of Bob or myself during this difficult time or later. — Bob & Kate Loper
