Barbara Ann Kallsen passed away the morning of December 10, 2012 surrounded by family. She was born on October 13, 1937 in Grover, Colorado. She spent 36 years in the Tri-Cities after relocating from California in 1976.

Barbara received her Bachelor's degree from Eastern Oregon University in 1985. She graduated magna cum laude. She was part of the original staff that opened Badger Mountain Elementary School in Richland. Barbara retired from Columbia Basin College after many years as a Business Administration Professor.

Barbara is survived by her sons, David Kallsen Theresa Kallsen, and Donald Kallsen Scottie Nguyen. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Mazie, Brock, Isaac, and Cameron and granddogs, Abbeygail and Ursala. She was preceded in death by her parents, Howard and Lola Stinger.

Graveside service will be Thursday, December 13, 2012 at 1:00 pm at Einan's Funeral Home in Richland. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to your local animal shelter.
