Steven S. Covert

Steven S. Covert, 50, of West Richland, passed away June 11, 2013 in West Richland. He's lived in the Tri-Cities for five years and was a Plant Engineer with Permafix Northwest.

Steven moved to Leavenworth, Washington when he was four years old and graduated from Leavenworth High School. He then went on to Washington State University, graduating with a degree in Chemical Engineering.

He married his wife Cindy in 1993 while welcoming his new daughter, Amanda, at that time.

He always took pride in his ability to work hard and provide the best life possible for his family. Whether it was dancing, soccer or wrestling, he was the biggest supporter of all the activities his children had.

Survivors include his loving wife, Cindy; three children: Amanda, Shelby and Dylan; parents, Rose and Jerry. Preceding him in death are his grandparents and numerous aunts and uncles.

Memorial mass will be celebrated at 1:00 PM Friday, June 14th, 2013 at St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Pasco.
