Mom was a great person. She was thoughtful and kind to all. My family will always remember her.
Will always remember Mrs. Downing as kind, soft spoken, and proud of Darrell, David, their wives, children, grand children and greats! Our condolences to all if you Darrell and Dave
While I never had the privilege to meet her, I feel I know Marjorie Downing – through knowing her two sons, Darrell and David, who are the responsible and contributing adults each is today, largely because of the guidance they received from their Mother.
Mrs. Downing was my 4th grade teacher at Marcus Whitman. She was also my favorite elementary school teacher. I was not able to attend her service due to work conflicts but she played a very important role in my life. Thank you Mrs. Downing!!!! Ken
I lived behind Mrs Downing for 26 years, kept my eye on her then she just dissapeared when you took her to prosser. I am very sorry to hear that she passed away, she was the sweetest lady. when I would be working by the fence she would come trotting out to see if she could help. Mr and Mrs Downing were the best neighbors, they were so friendly. I do miss chit chattin with her.
