Margaret Theresa Wilkinson

Margaret "Margie" Theresa Wilkinson, 70, went to Heaven on October 5. She was born in Milwaukee, WI on December 16, 1942 and was the eldest of seven children to Martin and Stella Richlen. Margaret grew up in Wisconsin, worked for Westinghouse and was an integral part of the USO United Service Organization where she would meet her husband of 47 years, Leonard Wilkinson. She moved to the Tri-Cities in 1973 when Leonard got a job at the Hanford Site. During this time, she ran a home child care center, assisted in coaching Little League, was a volunteer tutor for the Kennewick School District, had a cake decorating business and earned two Associate's Degrees from Columbia Basin College.
Margaret worked as a People Greeter for Walmart for 15 years and always had a warm smile and sense of humor to everyone who would walk in the door. She could always be counted on to root for her beloved Green Bay Packers, which she was a shareholder. Her favorite activity was to read stories to her grandson Aidan.

She is survived by husband Leonard, son Scott, daughter Sheryl Roberts, son-in-law Pete Roberts, grandson Aidan Roberts, sisters Chrissy Alan, Gigi, Sandy, Terri Steve and Maycel and brothers Mike and Daryl Judy.

She is preceded in death by daughter Karen Sue and her parents, Martin and Stella Richlen.

A celebration of life ceremony will be held on October 19th, 11am at Memories at Sunset Event Center in Richland.

Flowers may be sent to Einan's Funeral Home or a donation may be made in the name of Margaret Wilkinson to the Kadlec Foundation, Richland, WA.
