Wade Hampton Riggsbee

Wade H. Riggsbee, 69, passed away on January 20, 2014 in Everett, WA. Wade was born in Brisbane, Australia on November 8, 1944. His Father was in the US Navy and his mother was in the Australian Air Force. They left Australia when Wade was young and moved to Baltimore, he grew up in North Carolina where he was very proud to have lettered in high school baseball, and he eventually settled in New Mexico.

Wade enlisted into the Navy and was sent to Vietnam. He got his Bachelor's degree from Eastern New Mexico and his Master's degree from Wright State University. He became a hydro geologist working for Yakama Nation on the Hanford cleanup.

Wade was a loving father of 6 kids and grandfather of 2 granddaughters. He loved the outdoors, working on his two airstream trailers and his dog, Yukon.

Wade was preceded in death by his parents, Wade and Esme Riggsbee and he was survived by his children; Nathan Chapman, Matthew Chapman, Megan Chapman, Andrew Chapman, Ellen Maliff and Sarah Riggsbee.
