Mario Santana passed away March 2, 2014 near Pendleton, Oregon. He was born October 17, 1962 in the City of Colima, Colima Mexico to Angela Contreras and Arnulfo Santana. Mario loved his family and being around his grandpa Jesus; helping care for the goats, he loved nature.

Mario spent his adolescent years living with his mother and siblings in San Francisco. He had a beautiful daughter, Erika. He departed by life's happenings but never stopped loving her.

Mario then moved to Sacramento where he met his wife Mirella; they had two beautiful girls, Serenna and Persephone. His proudest moments were when they were born and when he met his daughter, Erica again after so many years. He was also so proud to have won his wife to the Lord and seeing his two youngest girls baptized. He spent life with them until the Lord called him home.

Mario opened his own store and later became a commercial truck driver. He went to Bible College and became a servant of the Lord. He loved to minister to those in his community.

Mario is survived by his wife Mirella Santana, daughters Serenna, Persephone and Erika, Araceli Santana, Mario Santana Jr., Tommy Santana; his mother Angela Contreras; siblings Alsel Guzman, Erindida Guzman, Misael Garcia, Efrain Contreras and his sister-in-laws Lupe, Vero, Letty, Josephina and Chona Martinez; brother-in-laws Edmando Gonzales, Juan Manuel Magona, Luis Larios, Miguel "Lonco" Martinez, Saul and Samuel Martinez; his father-in-law Miguel Martinez and mother-in-laws Maria Guadalupe Orvico and Martha Martinez.
