  • I worked with Jim at Transportation. It was a pleasure to have him around. He was gracious, respectful, reliable and on time. He would touch base with me about his payroll paperwork to make sure everything was on track, which was really helpful. He is missed.

  • I’m truly sorry to hear of Jim’s passing. I first met Jim in our senior year of high school and he was always kind-hearted. During this past year we became Facebook friends and I enjoyed his posts. Jim had a strong faith in the Lord and it’s comforting to know he’s in Heaven surrounded by God’s love and peace.

My heartfelt sympathy goes out to Jim’s family and friends.

  • I first met Jim when I went to work at Hanford, in 1990. After both of us retired from Hanford, we would see each other daily, when we picked up our grandkids, who are friends with each other. Last year he was really excited to get his job driving school bus.

His bus route took him to the same school our grandkids attended When he pulled in with his bus, Jim and I would and wave to each other nearly every day, as I waited to pick up my grandkids. Sometimes we would talk while waiting for the kids to get out of school and catch up on what the latest.

I will miss Jim, he was a great guy, very down to earth, a man who loved his family and fishing.

My thoughts and prayers go out to Jim’s family.

  • It is so true, some people you meet leave footprints on your heart. Jim was one of those people. A special college friend, an inspiration on how he handled the ups and downs life brings us, and his strong faith. He has touched all who knew him in a most special way, for sure. I feel blessed to have known him. Thoughts and prayers to his family and other friends. He will be missed, but we all know he has his wings! Looking forward to seeing you in our next chapter!

  • I am very sad to learn of Jim’s passing. I have fond memories talking to him about football when I was playing flag football in West Richmond. I also think he first introduced us horror movies when he was watching Friday the 13th when we came to visit. I am sorry I had to miss the funeral. Thinking of Jim and his family.

  • My deepest sympathy to Jim’s family and friends. Sometimes it seems that you can’t take the true measure of a man until he’s gone. Judging by the many positive comments I seen on social media, the big man had a big heart. I regret not having had an opportunity to get to know him better.

  • To my good friend Jim. May you rest in the presence of our Lord Jesus Christ until we walk together at his reappearing. For the dead in Christ shall rise first, and then we that are alive and remain, shall be caught up to meet him, and there we shall forever remain!
