Our beloved husband, father, and brother was called to heaven by the Lord on Monday September 15, 2014. He was born to Claude and Elda Belcher on June 25, 1933 in Muskogee, Oklahoma. The family moved to West Richland in 1947 when his father took a job at Hanford. Phil was a member of the graduating class of 1951 from Columbia High School in Richland. He joined the Navy after high school where he learned to be an electrician. He returned to the Tri-City area after his years in the service and spent most of his working career at Hanford before retiring in 1997. He loved to hunt, fish and spend time with his family.
Phil was proceeded is death by his parents, sister Rosemary Griffith and brother Michael Belcher. He is survived by his loving wife, Teresa Belcher, brothers Charles Belcher and David Belcher, 9 children and 13 grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life will be held on Thursday September 25th at 11:00 AM at Events at Sunset on the bypass highway in Richland.
My thoughts and prayers are with the family at this time of loss. My the Lord bless Teresa and family with comfort,Love and support.
I knew Phil for quite a few years. I cut his hair. He was always giving good advice on the computer and sites that he thought I would be interested in. He will be missed greatly and do want to give my best to his wife and family.
