  • We are still in shock over the tragic loss of our neighbor Meg. We were so looking forward to getting to know her better and spend time with her when we finally move in. She was so kind to us from the first day we met her and so full of life. We always joked with her that we wanted to be just like her, she had such a blessed life and loved her family so much and lived life to the fullest. God has another angel with him in heaven, but we will miss her terribly! Prayers go out to all her family!

  • My daughter Connie Wicks and I were sorry to hear of Meg’s death. She has always been so kind and generous. We enjoyed playing cards with her. She was great at line dancing with me. She was so good to take over Queen of the Red Hats for me and all the duties when I couldn’t do them any more. We loved playing bingo with her too. She was a true, good friend to the both of us. We loved Meg and will miss her almost as much as you do.

  • My mother, Doris Dingman, and I are so sorry for your loss. Losing Meg is a huge loss for everyone who knew her. My first memory of Meg is when I first met her at the Coeur d’Alene Red Hat Funvention. She had invited my mother to attend and to share a room with her. My mother convinced me to go as well, so I did. Was not a Red Hat Lady, but Meg said I could wear a red hat anyway. I wasn’t to be 50 yo for at least 6 weeks! Meg was so gracious and fun! It was then that, though I was supposed to be wearing a pink hat, I became a red hat lady six weeks early! I am so thankful for all the fun times and memories of Meg. What a wonderful woman. My mother and I send our most heartfelt warm wishes to all of you and wish you well. We know you miss her terribly, as we do.

  • Words cannot describe how much she will be missed. Mom meant so much to so many. She was more than special. She was my rock. She kept me strong and helped me carry on through some pretty tough times. I will forever hear her words of encouragement as I carry on without her. She set a fine example for all of us. We were all truly blessed to have had her in our lives. Love you Mom! ~ Your Daughter, Sarah

  • Meg was everything that a true friend should be. She was always there for me,or for anyone who needed her. Whenever I said I owed her, she would always say, “No, you don’t. That’s what friends do. Pass it on.” She was full of life and enjoyed every moment. Her hugs were legendary and she always had a smile and an encouraging word for all. I will miss her so much. Love you, Meg.
