James “Bob” R. Miles
Graveside services took place at Sunset Gardens in Richland.
Donations may be sent in Bob’s name to the Wounded Warrior Project; Hole In the Wall Gang or to any charity of your choice.
I was saddened to read about Bob’s passing.
Bob was always very positive and a great guy and the Miles family when we were growing up were definitely very involved with all activities and I have fond memories from knowing them through the years.
Bob continued this tradition and I admire the service he contributed in the Air Force and also with all the youth activities he participating in.
The country and state will miss his contributions very much.
My condolences go out to two of my HHS classmates of ’75 Sharon & Mike for their loss.
Glen “Woody” Ledgerwood
Sharon we are so sorry for your loss as today we lost a great brother and friend. We will greatly miss his great since of humor and his kindness. We always enjoyed spending time with him at the family gatherings .We know Bobby is in a better place now and he is probably up their refereeing the saints verses the sinners. We will miss Bobby.
Sharon, we cannot express our heartfelt sadness in learning of the loss of Bob. Sending you prayers and remembering great times of the old days! We just heard the news or we would have been there to celebrate the happy, sincere Teddy bear that is your husband. Much love
I have very fond memories of Bob and the many laughs we had together. I can imagine Bob being at home now with his parents and can be happy he made the world better for the rest of us.

Always smiling, always nice to everyone. He must have a special place in heaven.
This is one of the hardest things to do in life!
Saying goodbye to one of your closest childhood friends!!!
I have known Bob since 1st grade. Little Bobby Miles was a happy kid with a great sense of humor. Who wouldn’t want to be his friend?
We stayed buddies from Jefferson Elementary to Chief Joseph Junior High to Richland High School to opening Hanford High School. There was tons of great times during those years!!!
The smartest thing Bob ever did was date and marry Sharon! They were a great couple and I always enjoyed being around them! They treated me like family!!!
My condolences go out to Sharon, Mike and all the family & friends.
I have lost a dear friend!
If I ever need to smile I will remember Bob doing his “Prehistoric Gopher”!
