Just want to let the family know how much I loved this woman. She
was such a good friend for so many years to myself and my husband. She always teased him, saying she had known me longer than he had known me, which was the case. I met Lodi and family in 1969 at Silverdale Lutheran. Jan was very active in the youth group. I was their fearless leader.
Each of my kids thought the world of her too.
She just had sent me a “hello note” a few weeks ago and I had her birthday card purchased and was going to send it soon.
Dear Lodi will spend her birthday with Jesus and it will be quite a celebration. My sympathy to those of you left behind. She is in a far better place. Blessings to you all! From Steve and Judy Armstrong
Lody was such a vibrant person….and friend to everyone. We have really missed her at Oslo Lodge in Bremerton. Always the first one to volunteer…..and we always knew we’d have fun when we were in her group. I acquired a simple (no design or handwork) from Lody about 5 years ago, and it think of her each time I wear it. It will mean even more to me now. Lots of love and laughs to our Lody.
Lody was an amazing woman. You always new if you invited Lody to a function it would be a success. She had a wonderful since of humor and could make you laugh when you did not want to! She will be missed. Rest in Peace Lody and God be with her family in this time.
Sorry for your loss. She was married to my grandfather several years ago.
What a wonderful person Lody is/was to many.
As a neighbor, she was full of laughter. Many years, many laughts many tears, many lives touched.
Too many years have past and memories are fading. But the face and laughter is still in the heart.
May God comfort those who mourn..
