Mary Ann (Minda) Finley, 74 of Richland passed away on Sunday February 8, 2015 at Kadlec Regional Medical Center. She was born in New York, New York.

What a beautiful, elegant woman that experienced an amazing life.  She lived the world over, Cuba, Iran, Bazile, Jordan, France, too many places to mention.  She studied at the University of Paris at Sorbonne and was a 10 meter platform diver, among many things.  She met heads of state and spoke five languages.  She was a truly wonderful human being and the world is a lesser place now that she is gone.  Her husband, children, family and friends love and miss her.

A Memorial Mass will be held Friday, February 13, 2015 at 10:00 A.M. at Christ the King Catholic Church in Richland.

  • To Minda’s family……
How saddened I was to hear of the passing of your wife, mother and grandmother. I met Minda when she started working at BCDC and she was always so much fun to be around with so many stories to tell of her life and so much laughter to go along with life in general. We “reconnected” on Facebook (what would the world be like without FB?!?! ha!) and it was great seeing her daily posts of inspiration, hope and love. I will miss her but will hold onto the fond thoughts and memories and the good times. She is now at rest and experiencing eternal peace and for that, I’m comforted and hope and wish for that same comfort to come over you all in the coming days, weeks and years.
