I’m so sorry for your loss, Les was such a wonderful person, when I heard of what had happened it took a few days to even register, even now it simply doesn’t seem possible.
He never ever expected special treatment, complained about anything he pushed thru and past his limits and was happy about doing it.
I’m sorry he was taken from friends and family so early, but I know Les lived every second to the fullest or somehow found ways to do them his way.
We have kept in touch over the years and unfortunately it’s been a bit since we chatted, he would give me a rough time and tell me how my wife and mother skills impressed him, he was certain I would grow up and be a slob.
He taught me a lot, and I never stopped caring for Les, I feel lucky to have had the amount of time I did have with him, your family was always so welcoming, I have good memories of you all.
(Except playing games Uno or Risk, Les Sr.). Les and I would laugh about it later.
Love to you all
Chevelle
I am proud to have meet you and although my wife and didn’t know you well you made a great impression on us and were always quick to say hello and strike up a conversion, especially about riding. You will be greatly missed
RIP Ghost
Rip ghost, you will be missed. You were a beautiful person inside and out. You always helped everyone no matter what. You will be missed always and forever!
My deepest condolences to the entire Young family and all that knew and loved Les. He was such a kind and gentle spirit with a smile that was warm and genuine.
During our 9th grade year, he lived down the street and around the corner from me and would wait so that we could walk the rest of the block or so together to Chief Jo. I always appreciated that and thought it was so sweet.
We remained friends and I always looked forward to seeing him during my decennnial visits to the Tri-Cities.
Love you ma nun we will miss you
Our deepest condolences to the entire Young Family and friends; may your many wonderful memories help carry you through a difficult time and beyond…God Bless
Les and Family,

My thoughts and prayers are with the family at this difficult time.
So sorry for your loss and praying for you all.
I worked with Les at Battelle. I also had the privilege of having him in class. He was excited to be starting a new phase of his life. I am sad he has passed so unexpectedly. My deepest condolences to the family. I pray that the light Les brought into your lives will help dispel the darkness that grief brings with it.
Our thought and prayers are with you all.
Someone said, “What we have done for ourselves alone dies with us; what we have done for others and the world remains and is immortal.”
Les’ contirbutions to the lives around him in the form of friendship, compassion, caring and laughter will be an immortal reminder of how he touched our souls. And I for one count myself a lucky man to have been his friend.
Les and Pat and family, I am so sorry to hear of the loss of Les. I will fondly recall our golf outings and other events we shared.
He knew how to live life to the fullest! Never had a complaint and always a smile.
Know that he is in the loving arms of Jesus and forever healed.
