Dominic Sanchez

Dominic Christopher Sanchez, 41, the man known to be tough as nails, with the infectious smile, and great sense of humor, left us peacefully on April 2, 2015. As always, his loving wife was right by his side.

He was born January 2, 1974 to Luis and Anna May Sanchez in Downey, California. He moved to Pasco, Washington in 1989 and attended Pasco High School.

Dominic made many friends working as a DJ and Comedy Host in local night clubs. In 2002, he met the love of his life, Susie, and they married in 2003 at Lake Las Vegas in Henderson, Nevada. He worked at AT&T for several years before taking a job at TiLite where he achieved his goal of helping others and giving back to those with disabilities.  He inspired others to not let their disabilities hold them back.

Dominic enjoyed detailing his cars, driving fast, taking random road trips, taking pictures, In-N-Out Burger, classic movie quotes, but most of all he loved his family. His willingness to drop everything to help others goes without saying.

He is survived by his wife, Susie and puppy Roxy; brother Louie and Jill Sanchez of Colorado; brother  Vincent Sanchez of California; sister Miranda Sanchez of Tacoma, Washington; step brother Ronald Malachi of New Hampshire; step brother Robin Malachi of Texas; mother in law Jane Moron of Richland, Washington, and a number of nieces, nephews, and cousins.

He is preceded in death by his father, Luis Sanchez; mother and stepfather Anna May and Ronald Malachi; brother Alexander Sanchez and father in law Mario Moron.

  • To the Family of Dominic Sanchez. I am very sorry to hear about the loss of your loved one, Dominic. May the God of comfort heal your heart. The passing of someone you love can be a very hard thing to deal with. I hope you can find comfort in the promise of the resurrection mentioned in the Bible at John 5:28&29. Sincerely, Kristy jw.org

  • RIP old friend. It makes me sad to think that I’ll never see your smile again. You fought so hard to live your life on your terms and to have it cut short is so unfair. I’ll never forget carrying you upstairs when Hoops was above its current location. We were both a lot younger then but still I was certain those brutally steep stairs were going to kill us both. I’d do it again in a heartbeat just to see you smile one more time. You had such a positive impact on everyone who knew you. You will be missed.

  • I have so many memories with you! My all time favorite is speed driving in your car. You loved driving fast! You were the only guy who could make me laugh and cry at the same time. We shared so much together during high school and spoke daily. You always made time for me. It saddens me that life causes distance and we lost so much time until a couple months ago. You had such amazing words for your wife I knew you loved her tremendously. What a special person she must be….We made plans to meet for lunch and to stay in touch so I’m holding you to it! Until we meet again my friend you are forever in my thoughts. Thank you for your amazing friendship.
