Grace St. John

Grace E. St.John, daughter of Jesse and Ada Miller, died on Saturday, April 18 in Vancouver, WA.  She was born August 20, 1921 in Barberton, Ohio.  She married Roger St.John in 1942 and they were together 70 years at his passing.

Grace worked many jobs but was first and foremost a wife and mother. She was a Cub Scout den leader, 4-H leader and volunteered at her children’s school.  She was a long-time choir member at Christ the King church and sang with the Joyful Blenders ensemble at many churches and civic organizations in Richland in the 1970’s. For many years she worked as a receptionist at Einan’s Funeral home.  She and Roger also loved to square dance, travel with their RV club and to snowbird in Tucson, AZ.

Grace is survived by her children:  Richard (Lydia) St.John of Arlington, Texas, Ronald (Susan) St.John, Patrick (Laura) St.John and Donna (Gordon) Rodewald, all of Vancouver WA.  She is also survived by six grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

Grace was a wonderful and loving wife, mother and grandmother and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
