Gerald (Jerry) Grosclaude passed away on Septmber13, 2015 at
Life Care Center of Richland. He was born on July 25, 1939 in Munich, Calvalier
County, North Dakota.
On July 25, 1959 Jerry married his high school sweetheart in Reno, Nevada and they then moved to Richland in August of 1959. During his 56 years in the Tri-City area, he retired from Westinghouse Hanford in 1994 as a Nuclear Process Operator and Respiratory Technician and also served in the Army National Guard.
Jerry is survived by his wife, Sally Sue Lane Grosclaude of Richland; daughter, Shana Lane Grosclaude and partner, Chris Chadis of Richland, WA; son, Jerry Allan Grosclaude and wife Pat of Cheshire, OR; in-laws, Pat and Richard green of Eugene, OR; Ollie Jo Grosclaude of Egg Harbor, NJ and his numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father, Russel N. Grosclaude; mother, Edna and stepfather, Don Ellis; brother, Charles A. Grosclaude and Anna May and husband, Marv Schempp.
Inurnment placement will take place at Sunset Gardens in Richland.
Always enjoyed working with Jerry. He was one of the good guys.
Sally, so sorry to here about Jerry. He was a wonderful friend of mine over the years. I had wonderful times with him and your family when we were young. Time goes on and I have not see him or you for at least ten years, but have thought of your family often. Please remember your good times. I remember your family with love and friendship.
