Brenda was born to Arthur C. and Sabina I. Shrives in Richland, Washington; she was the second of four children.
Brenda was a woman of many talents; she could bake, sew and
draw. We were all blessed to be the recipients of those talents. Brenda could
make a cherry pie that was to die for! Her crusts were always so flaky. She
would make her birthday cakes to fit each person’s personality, they were
always a treat.
Brenda enjoyed working at Kennewick General Hospital until health issues prevented her from performing her duties. She will be greatly missed by those she leaves behind.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Chip; parents, Art and Bina; and her younger brother, Ray.
Brenda is survived by her sons: Darrell and Dale; sister, Linda (Ron); brother, Wayne (Nancy) and numerous nieces and nephews.
Per Brenda’s request, there will be no services.
My Aunt Brenda was the best. I have so many great memories of her and I will miss her so very much. I would have given anything to be able to make her well. Aunt Brenda I love you more than you will ever know and will see you again!
I worked with Brenda at KGH in Materials. She was a lovely person. There was always lots of laughter when we worked together. She was always worried about her boys and wanted you to have a happy life. I was very sad to hear of her passing. My condolences to your family.
