William “Bill” Mercier

Bill Mercier was born August 19, 1933 to Laurence and Nita Mercier in Mt. Morris, MI. When Bill was 8, the family moved to Burbank, CA where Bill grew up. After a tour in the Air Force, Bill lived in Las Vegas where he worked as a Black Jack dealer for several years.

Later, Bill worked as an iron worker. In 1978, Bill moved to the Tri-Cities where he worked as a radiation protection monitor for various Hanford contractors. He met his future wife Jeanette in 1987 and they married in 1988.

Bill is survived by his wife of 27 years, Jeanette; daughters: Tricia (Brandon) Egbert; Lisa (Toby) Greer; son, Bobby (Debbra) Chancey; sister, Mary Jane (Wayne) Kilburn; several nieces and nephews and grandchildren.

A private family gathering will be held at a later date.
