Sharon Kay (Hosley, Barbee) England

Sharon England, age 72 of West Richland, Washington passed away February 22, 2016 at Tri-City Chaplaincy Hospice House. Sharon was born January 31, 1944 in Lewiston, Idaho. Sharon has lived in the Tri-Cities for over 40 years. Over the years, Sharon was involved in many different adventures. She was born and raised in Lewiston, Idaho, first showing her big personality as a high school cheerleader. Married to Tracy Barbee for 17 years (who preceded her in death) and together they had three children. They moved to the Tri-Cities and she was a homemaker for many years caring for her three children and also raising her nephew. After his passing she met Jerry England and shared many long years with their combined family. She worked in many different fields over the years, but her passion was that of playing Bingo. In her later years, this is what she termed “Going to work”. This is a place that Sharon was able to socialize with and make many friends. This is what really helped her stay active and healthy as long as she did. We are very grateful to all of the employees, Darla, Rosie and others at her “work” that took such good care of her. She loved her family very much and will be greatly missed.

Sharon is survived by her husband of 34 years Jerry England, her children: Brenda (Bill) Bishop, LeAnn (Rand) Taylor, Brenda Host-Barbee, Kyle (KC) England, Tonya (Darrell) Hill, Jon Charpentier; grandchildren: Kristina (Thomas), Jamie, Jordan, Tyler, Jake, Hailey, Hannah, Emily and great-granddaughter Emma. She is also survived by her sisters: Judy (Darrell) Shaw and Pam (Jim) Kuther; brother, Ken (Honey) Hosley and many nieces and nephews. 

Sharon is preceded in death by Tracy Barbee (husband of 17 years), Greg Barbee (son), Clarence and Alberta Hosley (parents), and Myrna Cater (sister). 

A graveside services for family and close friends will be February 25, 2016. Please join the family at 11:30 today, Thursday, February 25, 2016 for a Celebration of Life at the Event Center at Sunset Gardens. 915 Bypass Hwy, Richland, WA.
