Wayne Mills Noble

Wayne Mills Noble, born May 9, 1925 in Lynndyl, Utah to Monroe Clarence Noble & Nellie Alnora Mills Noble. He died April 29, 2016 in Richland, Washington.

He served in the Navy during WWII, and graduated from the University of Idaho. Wayne was a mechanical engineer and was a Project Manager for UNC & UNC Geotech. He was also a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter day Saints; he held many positions and was an ordinance worker for over 21 years. 

Wayne is survived by his wife, Geraldine (Geri) Noble; children: Sharon Vogl, Priscilla Noble, George Noble, Leon Hendrickson, Christi Hammer, Sandy Nelson, Phil Hendrickson and David Hendrickson. He’s also survived by his brother’s: Willis Earl Noble, Orson Bates Noble; sisters: Alnora Bremerton and Eva Kelley.

He is preceded in death by his parent’s; daughter, Charlotte Estelle Noble; son, James Theodore Noble; brothers, Robert Vern Noble, Cleon Ernest Noble, Melvin Lee Noble, Austin Jay Noble; sister, Mary Bachowsky; and half-brother, Monroe Clarence Noble, Jr. 

Viewing will be held on Saturday, May 7, 2016 at 9:00 am at the LDS Thayer Stake Center with the Funeral Service to follow at 10:00 am; 1720 Thayer Dr.  Burial will follow in La Grande, OR at the Hillcrest Cemetery.
