EDDIE LEE SKINNER
Eddie Lee Skinner was born on March 20, 1930 in Waynesboro, Georgia. She passed away peacefully in her sleep on December 21, 2016 in Kennewick, Washington.
Eddie came to Pasco in 1952 and worked for the Pasco School District as a play ground supervisor and teachers aid. She was one of the founding members of the Community Action Committee and Head Start Program. She worked at Battelle Northwest and various construction sites out of local #348. She owned and operated a gift shop in the Richland Federal building. She was a foster/day care provider for many years. Eddie retired from Columbia Basin Domestic Violence Services as an advocate and peer counselor. After retiring in 1995 she became a senior companion. Eddie enjoyed fishing, sewing, cooking and playing the slot machines.
She was a member of New Hope Church in Pasco. She is preceded in death by her parents and children, John, Jerome and Ida. She is survived by her children: Belinda, Kenny, Byron and Brian. She has 19 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren and 6 great-great grandchildren.

Viewing will be on Wednesday, January 4th from 12-2pm, Funeral services begin at 2pm both located at Events at Sunset, 915 ByPass Highway in Richland. A Graveside will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens.
