Leonora Craig Wykoff died on April 19, 2017 at home in Richland.  Lee was born on November 20, 1920, in Santa Barbara, California.  She was the only child of Robert Addison Craig and Mona Clifford Craig.  She attended school in Oakland, Calif. and graduated from UC Berkeley in 1942.  As a sophomore at Cal she met her future husband, Robert Wykoff.  Six months after graduation they were married in the Chapel at Trinity College in Hartford, CT.  They lived in Connecticut for 4 1/2 years while Bob worked at Pratt and Whitney Aircraft.  During that time, their daughters, Karen and Beverly were born.  In 1947 Bob accepted a job with Battelle in Columbus, OH, where they lived for the next 2 1/2 years.  Their son William Robert was born there in 1948.  In 1949 the family moved to Los Alamos, New Mexico, where Bob was employed by the Los Alamos Scientific Laboratory for almost 20 years during which time their second son Richard Craig was born and all but Rich completed their secondary schooling there. During this time Lee and Bob became avid High School basketball fans.  They continued their interest in this sport - rarely missing a game in Los Alamos and going to all Bombers games and tournaments for many years after moving to Richland until age made climbing around the bleachers too scary.

As their children grew up Lee and Bob were both very active in the United Church of Los Alamos.  Lee held most of the offices in the Women's Society, taught Sunday school, was chair of Christian Education, helped at church camp, and both Lee and Bob were officers in the Couples class.  She was also involved in Scouting, PTA and Little League Mothers Club.  In 1969 Bob, Lee and Rich made the move to Richland where Bob was employed at the FFTF until his retirement. They joined Central United Protestant Church where Lee was involved in a number of groups - The Chancel Guild, Women's Commission and Book Group, and she and Bob were both members of a very special Small Group for many years. She also spent seven years as a volunteer counselor at Planned Parenthood.  She and Bob were both members of Kadlec Auxiliary, where they volunteered as escorts. Bob also worked at the information desk and Lee in the gift shop.  She was a member of Chapter DF of the P.E.O. Sisterhood. For many years they had the privilege of increasing their Bible knowledge by attending classes conducted by Dr. Marvin Cain at the Mid-Columbia Center for Theological Studies.

After Bob retired they enjoyed traveling in Europe, the Orient, Australia and New Zealand, visiting many of these places on cruises - their favorite way to travel.  Their favorite place, however, was Maui, which they visited regularly for many years.  In 2007 they joined Shalom United Church of Christ and enjoyed many happy associations there.

Lee is survived by daughter and son-in law Karen and Doug Wicks of Great Falls, Montana, Beverly Wykoff of Montrose, California, son and daughter-in-law William and Joan Wykoff of Clarkston, Washington, son Richard and daughter-in-law Margo O’Connell of Hillsboro, Oregon; and daughter-in-law Angela Wykoff of Hillsboro, Oregon.  She is also survived by grandson Jeff Wykoff and his wife Marsha of Pocatello, Idaho and grandson Jason Wykoff, granddaughter Lorien Wykoff and husband Will Guest,  and grandson Nicholas Wykoff  all of Hillsboro, Oregon and great-grandchildren Keith, Trinity and Joshua Wykoff of Pocatello, Idaho. She was predeceased by her husband of 73 years, Bob, on October 24, 2015.

The family would like to extend their appreciation to Chaplaincy Hospice Care, for the care they provided Lee.  Arrangements for a service will be made at a later date. Memorial donations may be made to Shalom United Church of Christ in Richland, The Chaplaincy Health Care, or your favorite charity.
