From Richland, WA | Born in Columbus, OH
Martha Fish
Mardi Fish, 72, passed peacefully in her sleep on July 13, 2017 in Richland, Washington. Mardi, born in Columbus, OH was raised in Kentfield, CA. In 1976, she moved to Richland, WA where she raised a beautiful family and lived a wonderful life.
Always full
of life, love, and a wicked sense of humor, she will be dearly missed by many;
as she filled our hearts with laughter, and often time’s turmoil, her legacy
will continue through her loved ones.
Mardi is survived by the love of her life, Mike; her daughters, Theresa Poston, Cheryl Crayne, Maggie Larramendy, her son Robert Sutherland and his wife Tina; her grandchildren, Cassi and Jarad, Daniel, Ryan, Mackenzie, Nathan, and Tyler; her beloved great granddaughters, Logan and Quinn; dear lifelong friends, Pat Harty and Bill, Gina, Chad and Kyle Hertenstein; as well as so many more.
Mardi is preceded in death by her daughter Diana.
Memorial services will be held on Saturday, July 22, 2017 from 3 pm to 6 pm at Event at Sunset, 915 ByPass Hwy in Richland.
One could never forget Mardi; if you met her once, you would never, ever forget her! She was classy, brassy and often ‘smart-assy’! Her heart was pure gold and as giant as the great outdoors; always there for everyone; if she liked you! And then she would love unconditionally without reservation.
But, if she didn’t like you; you would have been keenly aware!
My daughters absolutely adored her…”the best sitter we EVER had!”
For the family: Your loss is heaven’s gain. She is free and even though her presence is gone; her presence will be evident.
Mike, I am so sorry. I’m just now sitting at my desk reading this. I just don’t know what to say. I wish I did.
Gods Peace Bahama Mama. That is our prayer for you. You and Mike accepted us as family the day we met you that’s the kind of people you were. It didn’t matter what life story people brought, you welcomed them with open arms – a little vulgarity, but open arms nonetheless 😉 You will be missed dear friend. Take care of us from above 😘 Much love to You Mike as well – Bruce and Deb
Mrs. Fish has always accepted me into the family. (I have always highly respected her so much, she deserved to be called Mrs. Fish). She has always listened and guided me through so much. I remember feeling so safe in the house that I would often crash while having a sleep over with Theresa. I will miss you but I know you are watching over us all.
