Marilyn Wilkins-Erwin
Marilyn Elaine Wilkins-Erwin was born January 22, 1956 to Bill and Sadie Wilkins in Pasco , Washington. Marilyn grew up in Pasco, she went to Whittier, Longfellow and Emerson Elementary, McLaughlin Jr. High and Graduated from Pasco High School in 1975. She also attended Claire’s Beauty College, Deluxe Beauty School, San Diego City College and CBC. Marilyn was a licensed Cosmetologist. She worked at the J.C. Penney’s Salon and ventured on to open her own Salon known as The Hair Affair. Marilyn dedicated her Life to Jehovah and was baptized as one of Jehovah’s Witnesses on June 9, 1979. She was currently a member of the Kennewick West Congregation at 4100 W Kennewick Ave, in Kennewick, WA. She loved to Pioneer and had been pioneering over the last 10 years. Marilyn shared a love for cooking, sewing and quilting with her mother. She was a Pampered Chef Consultant for 10 years. Marilyn is survived by her husband Ray Erwin of Kennewick, her five children, Quita Monae Jordan-Smith (San Diego), Ruth Jordan (Lakeland, FL.), Archie Grant (W. Richland ), Genny Grant-Berry (Seattle) and Anthony Davis (Lakeland FL.), 20 grandchildren and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins . Marilyn is also survived by two brothers Pastor Albert T. Wilkins (Kathleen) and Billy Wilkins both of Kennewick. A very special Niece Deborah Anderson of ( Farmington Hills MI). Marilyn’s special friends were ~ Jim Coleman, Karen Campbell, Gloria Edgecomb, Gloria Eaton, Dorothy & Hayward Martin and her spiritual mom Joann Patterson.
Preceded in death by her parents Bill and Sadie Wilkins, Brothers Oliver T. Wilkins, Nathaniel (Ned) Wilkins, Anthony (Tony) Wilkins and Jerry K. Wilkins.
Memorial Service will be held at the Kennewick Kingdom Hall located at: 4100 W. Kennewick Ave. Directly following the Memorial Service, everyone is invited to share a meal with friends and family at Morning Star Missionary Baptist Church located at 631 S Douglas in Pasco.
