Sharon K Koehling died October 24^th, 2017 after a hard fought battle against ovarian cancer.  She was born in Chicago Heights, IL on December 15, 1937 to Howard and Emma (Moehlman) Winn.  She graduated from Bloom Township High School in 1955.  In 1956, she married George Harrop and had three sons.  That marriage later ended in divorce.  

On February 29, 1980 she married Erick Koehling in Irving TX.  In 1981 they moved to Denver, Co where they lived for 13 years.  While in Denver, Sharon worked in the accounting department for Government Employees Financial Corporation.  In 1993 she and Erick moved to Richland.  She worked as an administrative assistant for Mike Bernard, a Thrivent for Lutherans representative, until she retired in 2008.

She and Erick loved to travel and enjoyed many cruises as well as road trips.  They traveled to all 50 states, as well as Europe and Central America.  Hawaii was always her favorite destination.

Everyone will remember her amazing smile and her ability to make the best of any situation.  Sharon loved Jigsaw puzzles, reading, decorating and taking care of her family.

Sharon was a member of Richland Lutheran Church.

She is survived by her husband, Erick, sons, G. Michael Harrop, Jeffery (Robin)Harrop and Mark (Linda) Harrop.  She is also survived by her stepchildren, Jim (Sharon) Koehling, Dan (Linda) Koehling, Jane (Kyle) Lewis , Patty Fernanaz,  Mike (Robin) Koehling and Rob (Gretchen)  Koehling.  She has 14 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.  She is also survived by her brother, David (Tricia) Winn and sister Debra (Ken) Gordon.

A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, October 28, 2017 at 1:00pm at Richland Lutheran Church.
