Myra Grace Wood, beloved Mother, Wife, and Great Grandmother passed on November 20, 2017 at Hospice House in Kennewick.  Myra was born to Francis and Nina Doubt in Minden, Nebraska on December 6, 1921.  The family moved to Branson, Missouri where she spent all her childhood and adolescent years.  She was active in High School Choir and music.  After High School she attended Nursing School and throughout her 40 year career worked as a Registered Nurse in many Hospitals and County Health Departments.  Her favorite ward was the Children’s Ward.  She married Roy A. Wood on July 21,1956 in Kansas City, Missouri.  In the late 1990’s Myra and Roy moved to Washington State.  Myra was an active member in the local United Blind Organization and Red Hat Society (Ladybugs).  She attended Temple Baptist Church.  Myra is survived by her son Allen Wood, her daughter Janet Rohner, her granddaughter Ashly Wood: and 2 great grandchildren; Conner and Trinity.  She is proceeded in death by all her siblings (Lois Clithero, Loren Doubt, Stanley Doubt, and Alvin Doubt).  Memorial service will be held on Monday, December 04, 2017 at 5 p.m. at Einan’s Sunset Gardens Funeral Home.  Pastor Mike Gilchrist from Temple Baptist will officiate the Celebration of Life.
