Todd Holgerson

Todd Holgerson was a man that was not afraid to tell those he loved “I love you” every time he saw them. Todd had a tough life battling many health issues. Despite all the pain he suffered he was a brave man who overcame many challenges. He will be remembered for his sense of humor that made him the life of the party and his ability to show forgiveness and love. Todd was born in Peekskill, New York to Dianne and George Holgerson and spent most of his later years in the Tri-Cities. He is survived by his mother, Dianne and his step fathers, John Haydon and Dave Starke. He leaves behind the lights of his life his granddaughter, Aerolyn Holgerson and his daughter, Terasa Holgerson. His sister, Carie Starke and his brothers, Greg Holgerson and Steve Holgerson will forever hold him in their hearts cherishing the memories of growing up with Todd and how he shaped their lives.

In his early years Todd spent time working in Alaska on the pipeline and later found great pride in becoming part of the Benton Franklin  Sheriff’s mounted Posse. Knowing that he and his horse Sis were doing so much good and helping others filled his heart with joy and pride. Later Todd went on to take on a Job at Hanford where he helped process nuclear waste. He was responsible for some great research and implementing of new processes in his area.

Todd later fell ill as Diabetes took its toll on his quality of life. Todd underwent multiple transplants and battled many medical issues over the years. Todd was a strong man who had many tough battles to fight in life and through it all he kept that amazing Todd personality that kept others smiling.

It is now that we have to say goodbye to this strong man who kept us all smiling and made sure we all knew how loved we were no matter the pain he was suffering.

As you go on in your travels Todd please know you are always with us and our hearts breaks without you here to hold. As you always did, we would all like our last words to you be “I love you”

A Celebration of Todd’s life will be held at Einan’s Funeral home on Saturday November 4th at 1:30pm. We ask that you join us in sharing memories of Todd and celebrate how he touched all of our lives.
