Judy Robinson
Judy Kay Robinson, 63, passed away on Monday, December 25, 2017 in the Squires Residence, a caring and loving Adult Family Home in Kennewick, after a fighting battle of early onset Alzheimer’s disease.
Judy was born on March 13, 1954 in Richland, WA to Herman and Margaret Stewart, and was the youngest of their three daughters. Judy was a lifelong resident of the Tri-Cities, and spent her childhood alongside her sisters, Marlis and Shirley, and her many cousins. Her immediate and extended family enjoyed spending a lot of time together. Whether it was for summer vacations, holiday get-togethers or just weekend gatherings and get-a-ways, they always managed to have a good time.
Judy graduated from Kennewick High School in 1972, and soon after she got a secretarial position for Westinghouse in the 300 area of Hanford. After working there for 22 years, she retired to be a homemaker.
Judy had one child, her daughter, Jennifer. If you could have asked Judy what she believed to be her greatest accomplishment in life, she would have said it was her daughter. No mother had greater joy and pride in their child than Judy.
Judy had many interests and hobbies. She enjoyed crocheting, watching movies, reading, was a huge “I Love Lucy” fan and her favorite place to travel to was Cannon Beach. She loved the peaceful feeling the ocean brought her.
Judy is preceded in death by her father, Herman, her mother, Margaret, and her oldest sister, Marlis. Judy is survived by her older sister Shirley, her husband Patrick, her daughter Jennifer, son-in-law Sean, and her three grandchildren, Emma, Scarlett and George, whom she had much pride and love for.
A celebration of life memorial will be held in Judy’s honor at Einan’s Event Center in Richland on Saturday, January 13th, 2018 from 1-2pm, with a reception to follow.
Our thoughts and prayers are with you our sweetness. Love you forever.
