Donald Richard Bento Sr, age 80, passed away peacefully at Kadlec Hospital surrounded by family on February 14, 2018.  Donald was born February 27, 1937, in San Francisco, CA.  He moved to Benton City, WA in 1976.  Donald worked as a Boilermaker in California and Washington until he retired.  He was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed fishing, hunting and anything to do with the outdoors.  He was a master gardener and proud of his many, fruits, vegetables, flowers and plants he grew.  Everyone looked to him for gardening advice. 

He was preceded in death by his parents Joseph and May Bento and daughter Janelle Bento.

Survived by:  Wife Jeanette Bento of Benton City, WA; sons Donald Bento Jr of Pasco, WA and Curtis Bento of Mountain View, CA; daughter Victoria Crabtree and son-in-law Chris Crabtree of Snohomish, WA; grandchildren Connor Crabtree and Courtney Crabtree of Snohomish, WA; sister Cheryl Sanchez and brother-in-law Ron Sanchez of San Jose, CA. Donald is also survived by many brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends.  Donald was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend. 

He will be missed by everyone whose life he ever touched. Private family services will be done at a later time.
