Larry was preceded in death by his parents, Jerry and Vera McGlothlin.
He will be laid to rest at Sunset Gardens, Richland, WA. No services are planned. Memorials can be sent to any Veteran organization.
I’m going to miss Larry. As a cousin who was introduced to me in the early 90’s he grew to be someone who I could confide in and discuss almost any subject with. He was honest, sincere, kind, and would do just about anything for the people he cared for.
As soon as it became available, Larry and I would talk on “ICQ” or Yahoo Messenger back in the days when domestic long distance phone calls came with a charge. We beat the system by talking over the internet, and had other friends and relatives (Richard Lloyd and Jerry Lloyd) join in over the years. Each one of us would end our transmission with “over” so we wouldn’t be talking over someone else. Many times we’d talk for well over an hour, and I enjoyed every minute of it. It was real pleasure getting to know Larry and eventually getting to visit him and Wilma a few times in 2012 and 2013. When I finally met him in person it didn’t feel like the first time at all.
I miss you already, Cuz. Over.
