Eric Raymond Harvey was born in Syracuse, New York on December 13, 1952, to Roland Harvey and Aune Martilla Harvey. He moved with his family to Richland, Washington where he attended schools in the Richland Public School system.  He later attended Columbia Basin Community College, Walla Walla Community College, and Central Washington State University.  He was employed at various times as a draftsman, then as a nurse.  In later years he devoted his time volunteering at the Union Gospel Mission in Pasco, Washington. 

Eric was a book collector and was well-read on a variety of topics.  He had a vivid imagination and enjoyed making up stories to share with the young people in his life.  He loved the quiet of the outdoors and found peace there.

Eric is preceded in death by his mother, brother, Roland Harvey II, and sister Janice Griffin.  He leaves behind his son Elijah Harvey (Ana Fajardo), father Roland Harvey, sister, Carol Yearout, niece Shaune Salter, nephew Jonathon Yearout, and numerous cousins.

 Services will be held at Christ the King Catholic Church in Richland, Washington on March 10, 2018 at 10:00 a.m.
