Jose Pastrana Estrellado, Jr

Jose Pastrana Estrellado, Jr. 74 of Richland, WA passed away on March 25 at his home. He was born June 20, 1943 in Mauban Quezon, Philippines. He grew up in Mauban and graduated from MLQ University in Manila, Philippines. He then married the love of his life Teresita.

One of Jose’s proudest moments was when he was selected to go to Iraq to be the Lead Project Manager to look for Weapons of Mass Destruction. He worked for Westinghouse Hanford, Lawrence Livermore Labs, and ended up retiring from Fluor Daniel.  Jose was the Director of the American Glove Box Society.  He was a parishioner of Christ the King Catholic Church and household leader for Couples for Christ.

He loved to play chess and enjoyed teaching his grandchildren to play chess.  He also enjoyed playing pool and ping pong and loved knowing he could beat his sons. 

Jose is survived by Teresita R. Estrellado, wife; sons: Joselito Estrellado and wife Tracy, Benji Estrellado and wife Marcie, Jonathan Estrellado and wife Sherri and Bertrand Estrellado and wife Wendy; his grandchildren: Jeremy, Jordan, Jenna, Briana, Trevan, Kailey, Colin, Troy, Lee, Noah and Ryan. He is also survived by his sisters: Dalisay Salvanera, Nimfa Robillos, Maggie Martin, Mary Joya, Marta Plopper and Marcela Carreon and his stepmother, Tae Sung Estrellado. 

He was preceded in death by Jose Decena Estrellado, father; Ligaya Pastrana Estrellado, mother and Marie Reyes Estrellado, daughter. 

The Rosary will be held on Tuesday, April 3, 2017 at 12:00 noon at Christ the King Catholic Church with the Mass to follow at 1:00pm.
