Juliana Risk (Lawson) born in Reno NV on February 14 1980.  Juliana aka Julie went to our lord and savior February 28, 2018. Julie was surrounded by her loved ones, her beloved husband Jason Risk, her brother John Lawson, and her sister in law Tamara Lawson. This illness was quick and wore her down quickly. She fought so hard, she was born to be a fighter. Julie was born with severe scoliosis. Fighting was second nature to her. 

Julie met her soul mate Jason Risk while playing a video game online this was before it was cool.  They married October 9, 2004. They loved going to cons.  The last con they went to they convinced Jason’s mom Laura to come and also dress up.  They went as characters from the Wizard of OZ. 

Julie had a zest for life.  She loved to travel and see new places. She loved cruises and seeing new places.

Her favorite place was Hawaii. Julie and Jason were very close to John Lawson and his wife Tamara. Julie would set up family day trips like wine tasting, geo cashing, cons, Julie loved last minute trips.

Julie loved being an Aunt to Samantha (Sam) and Amy. Julie was a second mother to her nieces Julie helped mold and shape Sam and Amy into the young ladies they are now. Sam and Amy desperately miss and grieve to lose of their aunty. 

In the last year Julie and Jason decided they wanted to be parents. They decided to become foster parents with the hope to adopt.  Julie got to be a foster mom for 6 months of Julie’s life.  She loved being a mom. 

Julie was the light and the glue of this family.  Her smile was radiant, her eyes were so full of love that they glowed and sparkled.  Julie had a soft sweet laugh that was contagious and soon the whole room would be filled with the sound of laugher,

Julie worked as a financial specialist for Pacific Northwest Laboratory. Special thanks to Laura Herbert, (dad Herbert), Sarah Herbert, Amber Guston, and Vince Opheim for helping Jason through this.          

Julie was preceded in death by her mother SuzAnne Herrin, and father Edwin Lawson. Julie is survived by her beloved loving husband Jason Risk of Richland, her real Dad Bruce Herrin of Sequim WA, her Brother John Lawson and her sister-in-law Tamara Lawson of Richland WA, her beloved nieces Samantha (Sam) and Amy Lawson also of Richland.

The service will be at Einan’s Funeral Home 915 by pass Hwy Richland, WA this Thursday 8^th at 12:00 to 1 for viewing then serve following.
