Barbara Anne O’Brien, 57, of Richland, WA passed away at Kadlec Regional Medical Center on May 15, 2018. She was born in Bend, OR on December 30, 1960. She was raised in Walla Walla, WA and attended St. Patrick’s Elementary School and graduated from Walla Walla HS. While in high school she enjoyed singing in the high school choir and sang state wide.

Barbara worked for Griggs Department Store and she met and married her husband Patrick O’Brien. He was in the military and this led them to move to Fort Knox, KY until 1985. When they returned back to the Tri-Cities, Barbara worked for First Choice Personnel in the admin department, and then she worked for Bi-State Siding & Window until she found her passion driving for Benton Franklin Transit in 2006.

Barbara enjoyed trips to the beach, crossword puzzles, Sudoku and being with her family and loved ones. She was member of Christ the King Church, former member of TOPS.

She is survived by her husband, Patrick O’Brien; her daughters: Elizabeth Moe, Christina O’ Brien, and Patricia O’Brien. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Tierra, Hailey, Nevaeh, Tristan, Shaden, Dominic and Sebastian; siblings: Cindy and Ed Sams, Kathy Inglis, Sandra Shah and John Arthurs; uncle Gerald LaBreche; many cousins, nieces and nephews.

Public Visitation will be held on Monday, May 21, 2018 at Einan’s at Sunset Chapel from 6:00pm to 8:00pm with the Rosary starting at 7:00pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Tuesday, May 22, 2018 at Christ the King at 12:00pm followed by a Graveside Service at Sunset Gardens in Richland.
