Marjorie Haggard

Marjorie Ann Qualheim Haggard loving wife, mother and grandmother passed away on May 14, 2018, at the age of 75. She was born on August 9, 1942 to CR (Bob) and Francis Qualheim in Bremerton Washington and lived in Richland since 1948. She was the second of five children. Marj was a Richland Bomber and graduated from Col-Hi in 1960, then began working at Seattle First National Bank after graduation and continued her career for the next 40 years at Seattle-First (now Bank of America). She was trained in all aspects of banking from ledger filling, escrows, foreign exchange and as a personal bank teller. She enjoyed meeting new people and helping them with their banking.

Marj met Daniel Haggard in August 1959 and after a one year courtship she and Dan were married on October 15, 1960 and spent 57 wonderful years together. They had two children Bob and LeAnn. She loved to travel and visited all of the Hawaiian Islands, went on four cruises and the last one was to Alaska. Marj and Dan spent many vacations in their camper, then trailer, 5th wheel, and finally in a motorhome. She especially liked going to Canon Beach and Seaside Oregon and camping with her brother Jim, Margo and family.


Marj was a devout Catholic. She was a member of Christ the King Catholic Church in Richland for 70 years. She loved Jesus with all of her heart and soul. She and Dan were members of a Renew Group which has been meeting together for more than 20 years.

Marjorie was a Col-Hi Club 40 Class Representative for the Class of 1960.

Marjorie is survived by her husband of 57 years, Dan, son Bob (Wendy), daughter LeAnn, and siblings Bern, Rosemary (Joe), Jim (Margo), Jane and grandchildren Katie, Danny, Tess and Taylor.

She was preceded in Death by her parents CR and Francis Qualheim, and aunts Margie (Chester) Zukowski, Geneva (Chris) Christensen, Jeanne (Eddy) Grigg, Rosemary (Howard) Dove, uncles Bud (Annabelle) Murphy, Richard Qualheim and nephew Michael Qualheim.
