Mary Kathryn Triem Mowery 

Mary Kathryn Triem Mowery was born April 30, 1930 in Weston, MO to Kermit and Irene Horeseman. Kermit and Irene divorced in 1936 and Irene married Maurice Owings Triem in 1938. The family followed construction and her dad’s employment brought them to Richland, WA in 1945, where Mary graduated from Columbia High (now Richland High) in 1947. Mary met Glen Mowery and they wed in 1949, and became the proud parents of Michael, Greg and Mark. Mary is also survived by her daughter-in-law Lori Mowery;  4 grandchildren: April Lyn Mowery, Heather Marie Wright, Justin M. Mowery and Ashley J. Mowery; a granddaughter-in-law, Lacey E. (Justin) and 6 great grandchildren: Aedan Rhys Mowery, Emilia Kathryn Mowery, Shelby Sky Mowery (Justin and Lacey), Destiny J. Williams, Lily and Addison Wright (Heather and JJ). Mary was preceded in death by her husband Glen L. Mowery.

Mary always treasured the friendships she made during high school and in 1987 she and her ’47 classmates organized a 40^th anniversary reunion which still exists as Club 40. She was so proud of her “Founding Mother” title that she wanted to have it etched in stone when the time came. 

Viewing will be held on Thursday, July 5, 2018 from 10:00 am to 12:00 noon at Einan’s at Sunset Chapel, in Richland. The Graveside Service will be held Friday, July 6, 2018 at 12:00 noon at Resthaven Cemetery in Richland.
