Steve Hamilton
Steven Leslie Hamilton passed away on June 9th, 2018 at the age of 58. Steve was born in Vancouver, WA to Wayne and Jeanette on April 1st, 1960. He graduated from Battleground High and Clark College, with a certificate in Automotive Technology. He met the love of his life, Holly Burns, and they were married on September 4th, 1982 in Pasco on the Burns Farm. Together they raised two children, Brian and Toby, and moved from Battleground to Pasco in 1991. He worked for the Benton County Road Department for 25 years.
Steve
was an avid outdoorsman with a love for food and going back for seconds and
thirds. After a little encouragement from Holly, Steve would do anything that
was asked of him, followed by “well, its good enough” or “if its not broken,
don’t fix it”. One of Steve’s favorite things to do was to drive the
mountain roads. He would always take the road less traveled just so he could
find “trouble”.
Steve is preceded in death by his Grandparents Henry and Lois Hamilton, Leslie and Elva Walter, and mother-in-law Willetta Burns.
Steve is survived by his wife Holly, sons Brian and Toby, and parents Wayne and Jeanette.
Funeral service will be held Friday, June 22nd, 3pm at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 4618 Porto Lane, Pasco, WA
The family wishes to extend thanks to the LDS church, family, and friends for their generosity and support. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Wooten Jr. Grange Camp @ Pasco Wheatland Bank.
