Michael Ray Hett

Michael Ray Hett, 64 peacefully slipped away from us the night of July 4th, 2018 at home resting in his recliner. Michael is survived by his wife Sharon Hett, two step daughters LaDonna and Bobi Woosley, and his only grandson Jalen Patrick.

 He was born in Sunnyside, WA on October 29, 1953 to Vernon Hett and Arlene Stewart Hett, and was the third of 4 sons, along with two younger sisters.  Mike graduated from Kiona Benton High in Benton City, a place that he would always think of as home. After high school he focused on the social aspect of life then settled down and joined the Operating Engineers Union.

 Mike was preceded in death by his father, Vernon Hett and his mother, Arlene Stewart Hett Ramerman, and his brother Alan Hett.

 Michael will be remembered as a loving and generous friend with a unique sense of humor and a heart two sizes too big.

 Mike is survived by his 4 siblings, multiple nieces and nephews, A star lost its shine this independence day when Michael Hett lost the twinkle in his eye.  He is loved and will be missed by all that knew him.  Services will be held at a later date.
