Hakim O. Ward, age 28, rose to the status of a soldier on Sunday October 7th, 2018. He was born on December 9th, 1989 in Oakland, CA to Clara and Wilbert. Hakim graduated from Southridge High School in 2008. He was a forklift driver in the Hanford area at Ingredion Inc. He is proceeded in death by his father, Wilbert Ward and his best friend, Tyler Stock. 

Hakim was a loyal fan to the Raiders and the Golden State Warriors. He loved his family, friends and music. Hakim had a one of a kind sense of humor. He thought Arby's was healthier than McDonalds. He was intelligent as hell, loved Snapple facts and dreamed about going to the Catacombs in Paris. Hakim could make a joke out of anything. But most of all if he loved you, he made sure you knew. 

Hakim is survived by his mother, Clara James and his siblings Keioka Rahim, Martha Morris and Kenan Petkov in Arkansas.

A Celebration of Life will be held at Sunset Gardens Event center located at 915 By Pass Hwy Building I, Richland WA on October 19, 2018 from 3pm-5pm.
