  • So sorry for your loss. Was not aware of this until today — don’t take newspaper anymore. Just stumbled across it by accident. You all won’t remember me, but my family — the Polks/Hammacks –were like one big family with the Browns. When I was younger Carolyn, Marilyn, and Sharon were like big sisters to me. When I was old enough, I babysat for Marilyn and Jerry when they lived on Sanford in Richland. Marilyn was such a little, cute “big sister.” I remember her laughing — a lot. Loved all the Browns — such a special family to me growing up. Please give Jerry my condolences. Cannot find an address for him.

    With love and prayers, Marsha
