Anthony Mosca

To the family and friends of our beloved Anthony, “Tony” Mosca. Tony was born December 24, 1973, in sunny San Jose, California, to Laura Wacenske and Dennis Mosca. Tony passed away surprisingly and quickly on September 19, 2020, in Richland, Washington.

Tony spent his early years in Deer Park, Washington. As a teenager, he saved his earnings and bought a Volkswagen Bug, which he then spent many hours upgrading the speaker system and then some; it was his pride and joy. He graduated in 1992 from Deer Park Highschool and went on to marry Haley Hinmen and have two beautiful daughters.

In 2003, he met his current wife, Angelique. Angelique had two boys from a previous marriage and together they were the perfect blended family, full of ups and downs, and amazing adventures. They married in 2009 on the Oregon Coast, accompanied by their four children and family members and friends. Tony was the biggest Seahawks fan, and was always ready to represent. He also had a very passionate love of Harley-Davidson motorcycles, and could never wait to go on a ride, even if it was only a short one. Tony loved to connect with almost everyone he met; he would call strangers “boss”, go out of his way to help anyone who needed it, and because of that, all those who knew him still have a “piece” of him they will never forget. It could be a fence he installed or fixed, curtain rod hung ( had to be perfectly level, of course), floor installed, television hung (had to hide all wires because exposed wires are a no no), laugh during a Seahawks game, a crab feed, a car fix when you are stranded on the side of the road, you name it, Tony would show up.

Tony is survived by his mother Laura Fahlberg of Grass Valley, AZ, stepdad Robert Fahlberg of Grass Valley, AZ, wife Angelique Mosca of Kennewick, WA, daughters Cecily Mosca of Spokane, WA, and Delaney Mosca of Seattle, WA, stepsons Taylor LeClair of Richland, WA, and Jonathan LeClair of Richland, WA. He was preceded in death by his father Dennis Van Patrick Mosca.

Friends and family are invited to join us for Tony’s Celebration of Life on October 3, 2020 at 3:30 at 612 Lynnwood Court, Richland WA, 99354.

  • I’ll never forget how “cool” I felt at 16, spinning round in Tony’s bug. Josh, Amanda and myself. Tony had no fear in making our stomachs turn. I looked up to Tony but even more, his awesome mo., Laura. I was so sad to hear Tony passed away. A legend in all our hearts.

  • Ah Ton-Ton. You are so loved, and will be so missed. Generous to a fault, full of joy and silliness, you loved without bounds. Our daughters are the most incredible women I know, and I will be forever grateful to you for bringing them into the world with me. Gone far too soon, the world is darker without you in it.

  • Tony was very kind and generous. I was on the receiving end of his generous nature a few times. A few years ago I asked Angelique if she could recommend anyone to fix a few boards on a white picket fence. She said she sure could and that is how I first met Tony. He wouldn’t take any money and he fixed my fence with much care and attention to detail. Another time I mentioned to Angelique that I had spent a few hours on YouTube trying to figure out how to fix my dryer …. Tony was over that evening to check it out and ended up replacing a heating element. These may seem like small things to others, but his help was a huge blessing to me.

As a former co-worker of Angelique, I saw first hand (and got to enjoy) the beautiful flowers he often sent to her at work.

Angelique, my heart is aching for you and the rest of the family. You are all in my prayers.

  • Tony, you were a good friend, thank you for the random calls just to say hello and “seriously!” texts during football games. I wish I’d done more of the same just to be sure you knew what I knew. It had been a month or so since I saw you, so I’m glad I got to see you smile one last time at the stoplight on the way to work the week before you passed…even though you looked at me like “who’s that idiot honking at me?” I’ll miss you my friend.

Angelique, obviously you know you have Beth but just so you hear it from me…our door is always open.
